Generators

Generators

We will conduct an initial inspection and stand-down check of the generators, at the properties. We will identify when the last full service was performed, check for any obvious issues, and perform a series of checks to ensure there will be no problems with starting the units going forward.

We will conduct a monthly stand-down check on the generators, unless a full service of the unit is necessary – usually at six months or 250 running hours.  Where a full service is required, we will obtain authorization from you to proceed in advance of conducting the work.

Please note that we will not seek authorization for attendance to stand-down checks, due to the less intrusive nature of such work.  We will however agree with you an approximate date each month when your family or staff can expect our technicians to arrive.

We will also maintain a service history of each generator we will become responsible for, and retain this information for a minimum period of 2 years.  This will help us to identify and justify any issues we may bring to your attention.  We will make these records available to you immediately upon your reasonable request for same.
