We will conduct an electrical inspection of each property on a monthly basis. These inspections will include, but are not limited to:
- Internal lighting and fittings
- A/C power supply and protection
- Ceiling fans
- Power sockets and equipment plugs
- Security lighting
- Generator change-over switch
- Distribution board
- Alarm system
- Smoke detectors
During inspections, we will repair or replace any routine electrical items that require so (burnt bulbs, sockets, plug fuses, etc).
We will not repair any electrical appliance on site that may be noted by our technicians to be faulty or non-functioning (fridges, freezers, cookers, washing machines, etc.), and will highlight any issues in this regard in our inspection report. This is simply because of the potential high cost and time that may be required to complete.
We will provide an estimate for repairs for consideration, to allow the client to either authorize us to proceed with the work, or to make arrangements to replace the equipment with new should this be a cheaper and more convenient option.
We will also maintain a service history for each inspection we undertake, and retain this information for a minimum period of 2 years. This will help us to identify and justify any issues we may bring to your attention. We will make these records available to you immediately upon their reasonable request for same.
